Kathmandu Institute of Applied Sciences (KIAS) is a nonprofit science based research institution in Nepal. It was founded in 2014 by a group of young Nepali scientists with proven excellence. Scientists at KIAS conduct multidisciplinary research in both fundamental and applied areas ranging from biodiversity and climate change to the development of new technologies for chemical and biological analyses in pursuit of the advancement of knowledge in science and technology.
