'Sagarmatha Next', the project under Himalayan Museum and Sustainable Park (HMSP) has been built with vision to be driver for sustainable trekking & tourism in the Sagarmatha National Park and mission to create a sustainable ecosystem, that links economic development for the local community with environmentally-conscious tourism by increasing awareness of the challenges and making all stakeholders a part of the solution. The project combines a Learning Centre with upcycling waste into art, with an integrated waste management plan for the Everest area (Khumbu valley) of Nepal.
