Chhori is a women led national level non -governmental organization. Chhori means “daughter” in Nepali, a name chosen to reflect our vision of establishing equitable society full of justice where nobody gets discriminated just because of their gender. Some of the fields Chhori works in are: Prevention from trafficking, unsafe migration, sexual exploitation, sexual abuse, menstrual discrimination, protection and empowerment for the victim and survivors, advocacy, coordination and networking.

Chhori envisions a society where our daughters should not face any kind of discrimination just being daughter with the mission statement self -empowerment of the girls and women with skills and knowledge, enabling them to challenge the structural discrimination, violence and exploitation for a dignified life. Chhori’s current programs are focused on four thematic areas:  a) Prevention, Protection and Prosecution of victims and risk groups of human trafficking and sexual exploitation, abuse and gender discrimination b) Capacity building of the girls and women c) Resource development d) Advocacy and lobby.
