Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a motivated candidate with a strong educational background in the field of electricity to join our team at Balambu Technical Institute as an Electrical Technical Trainer. As part of the education industry, we strive to provide the best learning experience for our students by maintaining our facility and equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments for Wiring and Electrical Engineering courses
Conduct hands-on training sessions for students to develop practical skills in electrical work
Conduct lectures and discussions on theoretical concepts related to Wiring and Electrical Engineering
Evaluate and grade students' performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of their progress
Stay updated with industry developments and incorporate them into the curriculum to ensure students receive relevant and up-to-date education
Maintain a safe and organized classroom and workshop environment, adhering to all necessary safety protocols
Collaborate with other faculty members to develop innovative teaching methods and techniques
Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other events as required by the institute
Assist in the recruitment and selection of students for the Wiring and Electrical Engineering program
Provide guidance and mentorship to students to help them achieve their academic and career goals.

Required Education Level:Diploma Certificate

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

CTEVT ( Building electrician level 3) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and TOT (Training of Trainers) cleared.
Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching/training of Wiring and Electrical Engineering
Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively teach and engage students of varying backgrounds and abilities
Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Patience, adaptability, and a passion for education
