About the job

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Officer to join our team in Kathmandu. The successful candidate will be responsible for the distribution and sales of international alcoholic beverages in wholesale outlets as well as hotels, restaurants, bars, pubs, and other hospitality venues. The role requires strong sales skills, excellent relationship-building capabilities, and a deep understanding of the beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the assigned territory.

Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale outlets, hotels, restaurants, bars, pubs, and other key accounts.

Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new sales opportunities and understand customer needs and preferences.

Product Promotion: Plan and execute promotional activities and events to increase product visibility and drive sales.

Order Management: Manage the order process from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.

Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, track performance metrics, and provide insights and recommendations to the Sales Manager.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies regarding the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, logistics, and finance teams to coordinate sales efforts and support overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the alcoholic beverages industry or a related field.

Skills:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Good understanding of the local market and customer preferences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Language: Fluency in English and Nepali.

Other: Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Working Conditions:

Location: Based in Kathmandu with frequent travel to client locations within the city and surrounding areas.

Hours: Full-time position, with occasional evening or weekend work to attend events or meet client needs.
