Job Description

District Coordinator will be responsible for overall management of the project at the district level.   S/he oversees and contributes to the implementation of the Suaahara program in the district level. The position is also responsible to manage and oversee the operation and financial activities of the district office.

  • Oversee day to day management of Suaahara activities at district level and ensure proper utilization of the resources.
  • Effective implementation of programs with close coordination with concerned stakeholders and implementing partner agencies.
  • Develop work plan, monitor progress report and forward report at Cluster level
  • Ensure timely planning, implementation and monitoring of the District Implementation Plan (DIP).
  • Collaborate with district line agencies and strengthen networking at the district level to integrate the nutrition, health, WASH (water sanitation and health) and agriculture components of the program.
  • Facilitate partner NGO to support the implementation of the program.
  • Monitor and support the field activities of the partner NGOs and provide necessary support, including reviewing their monthly financial reports.
  • Manage and supervise district team members.
  • Oversee budgetary expenses and monitor financial report.
  • Ensure program quality by intensive monitoring plan.
