Job Description

Logpoint is looking for a talented build automation engineer to improve our continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline and join our DevOps team.
The main goal is to increase the productivity and to support and strengthen the build- and test automation infrastructure for our agile development teams. You will be a part of the DevOps team responsible for the development and maintenance of the automation infrastructure at Logpoint, covering areas such as build automation, automated testing frameworks, continuous integration and source control systems.
As our organization is expanding, so are our requirements for ensuring efficient delivery. We are looking for a person with a genuine interest in software automation, to actively pursue the challenge of providing all aspects of a top-performing automation infrastructure for our engineering organization – and who can take on the responsibility of driving the process together with a great team of colleagues.

Job Requirements

We expect you to be flexible and a fast-learner, as our set-up is continuously evolving. You are excited about development and results, and you have an analytical approach to your work. You are structured and know how to work independently as well as part of a team. You thrive in a busy working environment and like solving complex tasks.

  • A DevOps mindset and understanding of the principles of Continuous Integration and Delivery
  • Strong programming and scripting fundamentals
  • In-depth knowledge of build and release management processes.
  • You have a genuine desire to automate processes and workflows.
  • Familiar with a variety of builds systems (eg. Gradle, Make, Maven, etc.)
  • You are motivated by and interested in automation.
  • You have experience in applying agile software development practices (e.g. SCRUM)
  • You have operational knowledge on both Windows and Linux
  • You take pride in getting the development projects working more effectively
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

  • CI - Jenkins
  • Artifactory - Artifacts versioning and dependency management
  • Build systems: Ant, Make and Gradle
  • Code Quality - SonarQube
  • Linux Administration - Ubuntu
  • Atlassian products - Jira/Confluence/BitBucket
  • Cloud services: Amazon Web Services
