Position Overview:

Data Center Operations Manager is responsible for managing sustainability and capacity related projects throughout the Data Center.S/he is in charge of escalation and coordination for customer issue. S/he understands the Network, Hardware, Electrical and Mechanical operation of Data Centre and manage for smooth operation. S/he reports to senior management and directors.

Job Specification:

• Bachelor in any technical field
  
• Experience with hardware, network, OS, software and database
  
• Familiarity with cooling and Electrical will be a plus point
  
• Understanding of enterprise level networking and storage equipment installs
  
• Communication skills
  
• Time and project management skills
  
• Any other qualification technical or non-technical will be a plus point
  

 Job Responsibilities:

• Incident management Planning, Change Management Planning, Capacity Management
  
• Learn and manage the job duties of L1, L2 and L3 technical and non-technical staffs
  
• Willingness to travel in and outside Kathmandu valley
  
• Manage vendors and customers
  
• Periodically monitor the operation log book, AMC details and more
  
• Maintain customer SLA
  
• Responsible for auditing and customer site visit
  
• Understand and maintain the Data Center policy and tune as required
  
• Maintain and Manage staff relationship and assign job duties
  
• Responsible for vendor-customer relationship and approving bills
  
• Hire the new staffs as and when required
  
• Maintain the operation as per ISO standard
  
• Track issues and analyse data looking for trends and complete issues
  
• Implement process improvements and best practices from past experience
