Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Once trained to the LP4Y Pedagogy and to the use of our tools, you will take part in supporting a team of Young Adults (18 to 25 years old) by developing your skills in the following domains: 
  • Pedagogy and follow up of the Young Adults, so that they gain confidence in their capacity to act and therefore find and keep a decent job. 
  • Development of a Micro-Economic Initiative (social entrepreneurship) to enable them to develop : 
  1. Soft skills: business, management, organization, planification, communication, professionalism, time management 
  2. Hard Skills: digital literacy, english / globish basic communication skills 
  • Partnership development to create and develop an integration ecosystem for the Youth. 
  • Organization and management: organization of program activities in collaboration with other Catalysts, budget management, follow up and reporting of the activities along with the coordination team in support. 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 24 years old
  • Fluent in Nepali, well command in English (compulsory) 
  • Work experience in the corporate sector will be appreciated
  • Good knowledge in MS office (word, excel, drive, email)
  • Professional behavior
  • Ability to work in a team (team spirit) especially with intercultural members
  • Motivated and proactive profile who like challenges, volunteer spirit
  • Ready to learn and grow

Benefits

  • Housing (personal room with common space to share with others volunteers) and basic food on site is provided.
  • Final pay will be paid through check/bank transfer on the 25th of each month.
  • Will be taken in charge by LP4Y of your expenses if you need to travel as and when required for Project Purpose.
  • Social Security Fund provided 

Working Schedule:

  • Working time:  about 40h/week
  • Work days: Monday to Friday based on 8 hours/day
  • Holidays: 2 days / month + 8 days blank holidays
