Job Description

Job Location: Achham Local Programme Area, Achham District

Job Purpose: To provide leadership to World Vision’s work in sponsorship operations and programming in Local Programme Area in Achham district. This position would be focused in carrying out sponsorship operation and porgramme smoothly and ensuring benefit and participation of registered children and families from project activities. 

Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Master’s Degree) in Social Science from recognised university with at least three years’ work experience in child focused organisation
  • In-depth knowledge on  age appropriate developmental needs of children and key issues of community 
  • Good leadership quality to provide technical leadership and critical guidance in enabling understanding, monitoring and managing sponsorship in the district and having excellent networking and influencing skills
  • Good time management and organizing skills
  • Good understanding of sponsorship standards and processes 
  • Good report writing skills; with fluency in Nepali and English – both oral and written 
  • Innovation and creativity to have fun and meaningful activities for children
  • Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation
  • Ability to operate effectively and sensitively in the cultural context of Nepal
  • Willingness to commit to World Vision ethos, vision, mission and core values
  • Self-motivated, confident, independent, creative with strong analytical and interpersonal skills 
  • Positive learning attitude and concern for the poor and vulnerable people.
