Role overview:

To be Technical lead for the Child protection(CP) , Adolescent Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health (AYSRH) and Gender Based violence(GBV) theme in Leave no Girl Behind (LNGB)-ENGAGE project

Skills, qualifications and experience required
Essential: 

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in any social science subjects with Heath Education and gender studies Background
  • At least 5 years work experience in the sector of child protection, GBV and Health promotion particularly working with women, children and youth in the vulnerable community
  • Good knowledge and understanding of CP, GBV and AYSRH issues and policies in Nepal
  • Experience of working with Education promotion projects
  • Ability to analyses information, evaluate options, and follow the strategic directions as guided 
  • Capable of applying his/her skills and knowledge in a range of capacities, including direct implementation, advisory functions, training and transfer technical skills to others

Desirable: 

  • Experience of working with or as volunteer 
  • Experience in advocacy work 
  • Experience on media and/or advocacy
