Chief Of Party (COP)

Responsibility : 

  • The Chief of Party (CoP) reports to the FHI 360 Asia Pacific Regional Director and provides overall leadership and management oversight for the Civil Society
  • Mutual Accountability Project (CS:MAP) ensuring strong collaboration with national and local government officials, donors, sponsors, CS: MAP partners, civil society, media, and other key stakeholders. The CoP serves as the project’s principal contact point for USAID/Nepal, and oversees all aspects of program performance, both technical and managerial, ensuring that procedures are established and adhered to for activity development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, procurement, budgeting, and financial accounting
  • The CoP supervises the recruitment, hiring, and management of local staff and consultants. The CoP provides supervision of implementing partners and beneficiary communities, ensuring timely progress against schedules, achievement of deliverable, and quality of results
  • The CoP also oversees quality and timely development and approval of project deliverable

Qualification And Experiences :

  • Masters or higher degree in social sciences, international development, management, or a related field with minimum ten (10) years of experience in development at a senior program management level, including direct supervision of professional and support staff
  • Proven exceptional leadership in the design, management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of donor supported programs, with skills in high level strategic visioning and leadership, and preferably experience in managing complex activities involving coordination with multiple partner institutions
