  • S/he should have knowledge and experience in leading and managing program/projects including program planning, budgeting and partnership management. 
  • S/he should have excellent skills in coaching, facilitation, writing reports and documentation. 
  • The position holder should have good representation skills, excellent interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to work under pressure/stress. 
  • S/he should have expertise in Microsoft office package and fluency in Nepali & English language. Knowledge of accounting software (FAMAS and Agresso preferred) is a must.

Job Description

  • The Capacity Development & Budget Monitoring Coordinator is primarily responsible for the capacity development, monitoring and coaching of sub-recipients (SRs) to ensure the sub-agreement to be signed with SRs and Save the Children as per the prescribed template and schedule. 
  • S/he will implement auditor's recommendations with follow up action plan. The position holder will lead the planning & budgeting, update the monitoring tools, conduct the financial training, assist to update the financial policy/procedure and systems of SRs. 
  • S/he will require to make frequent visits (approximately 90% of total time for regional position and 50% time for Kathmandu position) to ensure SRs have adequate support to meet and maintain compliance requirements.

Term and Location: Fixed term position till mid-July 2016 and will be based in Country Office, Kathmandu (1) Far West Regional Office - Dhangadhi (1) with frequent (approximately 90% for regional position and 50% time for Kathmandu
