Job Description

  • Identifying business opportunities 
  • Organize client visits and establish new business
  • % of penetration for new markets, contacts, leads-to-sales, audience reach, database development
  • Ability to maintain relationships with clients by providing constant assistance, information and guidance
  • Liaise with Industry Bodies/ Non Profit Organizations/ External Events Organizers and technical specialists with guidance from the senior management for business development, and for knowledge partnership opportunities. 
  • In charge of several internal databases: development, maintenance and co-ordination including, sales leads, delegate leads
  • Company’s Award Banquets & Summits – Support the CBUs/ Events Team and handle award promotion deliverables
  • Network and liaise with clients and potential clients for value added activities like interviews and briefings.
  • Delivery of weekly status report (WSR) and MOPs report and regular achievement analysis every month in the format followed in the region and participate in weekly update calls with the VI team in Pune to ensure transparency in event planning.  
  • Complete any additional activities necessary to fulfill the objectives of the position efficiently.
  • Cross trained and able to assist and contribute across any functional areas and support of critical ad hoc and time sensitive projects related to marketing, event planning, event management, event operations and logistics
  • Able to train and orient new hires to the team
  • Ability to work independently while meeting individual and team targets and deadlines

Reporting to: Managing Director, Nepal

Educational Qualification:

  • Post graduate from reputed institute with specialization in Marketing or Sales
  • Graduate with specialization in management

Work Experience:

  • 2-3 years In the areas of business development and sales or corporate events
  • Experience in Fund Raising would be an added advantage
  • He/ She could have worked in a target driven environment

Preferred Date of Joining: Immediate

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal communication and business writing skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Tenacious with a ‘Can Do’ attitude
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Target-Driven and highly motivated  
  • Engage in regional travel as and when required
  • Willing to attend trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings if required
  • Good organizational skills
  • Abreast with business research environment
