Job Overview 

This position involves the responsibilities as a lecturer or as an assistant lecturer. The candidates  will be working collaboratively as a part of a team in the academic department. They will assist in  facilitating the learning activities in the college to the highest standard through tutoring and  associated academic advisory work, with a goal to ensure and deliver, an outstanding student  learning experience. 

Job Description 

• The delivery of module contents through the lecture, tutorial, workshop (LTW) and  additional knowledge delivery settings, for the stipulated number of hours in a week. - The design, development and preparation of the module’s contents and other  supplementary teaching materials. 
• The delivery of high-quality teaching sessions and continuous support for student’s learning  on assigned modules through constructive feedbacks, advice, and continuous academic  support. 
• The implementation of a reflective method to the development and enhancement of one’s  own teaching practice using the received practical feedbacks. 

1. Programming

• The candidates are to help the students develop interest, technical ability and  confidence using a programming language. 
• Comfortable with core JAVA (JAVA SE) or JAVA EE. 
• Familiarity of working on Blue J, Eclipse or Intellij IDEA IDEs. 

2. Fundamentals of Computing

• Comfortable delivering the process of designing data structure and algorithms for  digital data processing using sequential, iterative, and recursive algorithms.
• Excellent technical abilities in Python and frameworks like Flask and Django, HTML,  CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like React, Angular and Node, and Database systems. 

3. Computer Hardware and Software Architectures

• Excellent knowledge of computer hardware and software systems, the windows  operating system, and CISCO routers and switches. 
• Familiarity with the skills introduced in the CompTIA A+ certification and the CCNA  certification is expected of the candidates. 

4. Network and Operating Systems

• Strong knowledge of LINUX based operating systems, file systems, shell scripting and a  comprehensive understanding of the memory, I/O, and process management processes.

5. Advanced Database Systems Development

• Comfortable using advanced SQL and database application development tools, such as  Oracle SQL developer, Oracle, and .Net.
