  • Minimum Bachelor degree in related field
  • At least 2 years of Branch Incharge experience from Banks or Insurance companies
  • Strong analytical skill and interpersonal skill
  • Should be outspoken, flexible on time, cooperative and trustworthy
  • Should possess good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Must have effective convincing and negotiation skill
  • Should have good presentation skill
  • Proficient in computer skills (Email, Internet, Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, Ms. PowerPoint etc)
  • Should have smart, pleasant personality and good attitude
  • Should be able to work in a Team
  • Should be able to work on deadlines and bring result on time
  • Having managerial skill in FMCG and experience in sales and marketing are preffrerd

Job Description

  • Ensure that policies are issued only after payment has been received thereon and as far as practicable you shall require or conduct the physical verification to be done and same to document properly
  • Maintain or require your subordinates to maintain all the records relating to u/w and ensure proper book keeping for their easy retrieval when required from underwriting and accounting perspective
  • Have proper control over open and declaration policies issued for marine declaration and stock declaration policies for fire, keep separate file for individual client and make track of them to comply with the requirement as per directive
  • Maintain separate file for schedule policies of important clients and copy may be filed in separate policy files
  • As a branch manager/In-charge you shall require the renewal notice to be issued and handed over to marketing officer &/ or dispatched to the clients before and (1) month of renewal date and details summary sheet must be verified with the system at the end of the day
  • Ensure that the one who prepares the policy shall countersign the policies prepared before final sign off from your end
  • Whilst issuing endorsement of all policies, you may keep record in separate endorsement file and concerned files both
  • The policies underwriting shall be consistent with the directives issued by Beema Samiti, Insurance Act and regulations, any internal circulars issued from coordinator office and manuals in force of the company along with Anti Money Laundering Directives issued by the Beema Samiti and it shall be duty of the Branch In-charge/ Manager to strictly comply with the same
  • Send or cause to send daily collection report in the format prescribed to the following address [email protected] on daily basis
  • Send monthly collection report along with its supporting’s (Bank Statement) within 7 days of the following month
