Job Description

Bid Manager oversees all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality; compelling bids aresubmitted in a timely manner. He/she review all client requirements to ensure that they are met in the proposal and collaborate with a wide variety of involved parties to include all necessary information within the proposals.

Bid Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding a database of pre-written content to improve proposal quality to enhance productivity of Business Promotion teams. S/he is responsible for defining and optimizing database structure and record management system ensuring ease of access and data integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit, proofread and improve Bid/ tender proposals.
  • Liaise with Principal companies to ensure quality bid proposals
  • Help business partner, business promotion and consulting team on client engagements with research requirements within the specific time frame
  • Assimilate information extracted from various sources and re-write it into a defined style,ensuring that it is clearly articulated and easy to integrate into proposals and reports/ updates
  • Prepare package research findings in the form of pipeline projects in various development sectors
  • Ensure legal and operational compliance of database information- ensure compliance with laws
  • Conduct research within the relevant project domain through news and third-party data sources
  • Input to database management
  • Review structure of database on a regular basis, to ensure that it reflects the needs of the business
  • Ensure that business contracts/ agreements are in place for any business critical applications
  • Provide regular training to business promotion team about project specific topics and database management
  • Manage news, updates and information in efficient way accessible within the group
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in various sectors related to company’s interest
