Purchasing:
- Purchase and maintain inventory levels of all food and beverages.
- Maintain a list of vendors for food, beverages and other daily restaurant consumables.
- Control inventory levels and record keeping of all transfers to ensure cost controls are in place.
- Work closely with Executive Chef in order to achieve and maintain best quality and prices.
- Maintenance of the food & beverages and other line expense checkbook.
Receiving and Storage:
- Check all food and beverage deliveries for quantity and quality.
- Compare and check invoice prices against price list provided by the vendors.
- Assist in placing received F&B supplies properly in storage area.
- Forward the invoices received to accounting and reconcile total food, beverages and other purchases with accounts department monthly.
- Monitor all liquor bottles are stamped and empty bottles are disposed properly.
- Ensure bottle for bottle issuance of liquor.
- Maintain a neat, organized and well-stocked storeroom facility.
Inventories:
- Count all food, beverage and other inventories on a daily basis.
Physical Ability:
- Able to bend, stoop and lift 20kgs, minimum; walk and stand 50% of the day.
- The candidate must be physically fit to coordinate daily inventory management.
Experience: 2 years in Food and Beverage Purchase section in the hotel/restaurant.
