The Assistant Programme Officer will be responsible for managing Clean up Nepal’s action-research project – Mapping Solid Waste Management Systems of Kathmandu. Clean up Nepal with the support of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) and Private waste management companies in Kathmandu is going to implement its open-data mapping initiative which involves the use and promotion of the open-data technology platform - Nepal Waste Map (a web-based data dashboard and mobile application). The project is going to be implemented in 3 wards of KMC - Ward 3 (Maharajgunj), Ward 5 (Hadigaun), and Ward 32 (Koteshwor). The key responsibilities will include facilitating and coordinating training, mapping, and data collection activities. You will also facilitate the promotion and use of Nepal Waste Map (an open-data
website and mobile application) among the government, private and public sector.
