TUF was set up in response to the growing number of children in Nepal who were displaced and separated from their families by trafficking, poverty and internal conflict in the country. It currently implements residential childcare, family reintegration, youth and education and programs. It is furthermore implementing a Child Protection in Emergencies project in partnership with UNICEF.

Job Description

Under the direct supervision of Finance & Admin officer (FAO), s/he plays an important role in Finance and Admin Department to ensure a smooth financial, accounting and administration operations of the organisation;

S/he Should be able:

  • Making all types of entries in tally ERP 9 software, maintain supporting documents for each entry, filling all documents in proper manner.
  • Carry out monthly bank reconciliation of existing bank accounts.
  • Segregation of expenses according to different running projects.
  • Making payments, staff advances settlement including house petty cash.
  • Handling office petty cash.
  • Assist on budget planning.
  • Audit coordination.
  • Timely payment of utilities bills.
  • Checking the attendance sheet of students and school tiffin distribution as per need to all houses.
  • Maintain staff records (Staff profile, leave records, holiday planning and training) in a prescribed way and in confidential manner; checking the attendance sheet of staffs on monthly base.
  • Collection of monthly demand forms from all houses and prepare monthly demand summary.
  • Meeting minute preparation.
  • Support in organisational activities as and when required.
