Job Description

  • Design and deliver agriculture component of project
  • Plan sustainable agriculture practices
  • Implement all project activities in close coordination with donor organizations and local government bodies/stakeholders
  • Plan and provide technical support to monitor activities/ outputs/ impact and adapt the program as per need to ensure smooth implementation of project activities with community involvement/mobilization
  • Provide technical advice for ensuring effective implementation of strategies for climate change adaptation, and alignment with activities and policies on climate change in general
  • Prepare assigned district level trimester performance reports indicating the achievement of work plan targets and corresponding expenditures, as well as knowledge products
  • Under the technical guidance to the RCDC/ WFP/DPCU (District Project Coordination Unit), effectively implement the Project, through an interdisciplinary and comprehensive approach in the project districts
  • Explore opportunities and advise on the adoption of climate-smart planning in on-going and future activities at community and district level
