Job Description

Report to: Finance and Pricing Manager

Working Hours: 48hrs per week

Fringe Benefit: As per AMA Policy

Job Responsibilities: 

  • To be a part of the Accounts team responsible for maintaining a well-organized and accurate accounting function responsible for accounts receivables & payable and cash management

Job Duties:

Day to day Accounts Operations:

  • Work closely with Accountant in implementing the Financial Manual and all policies and procedures contained therein
  • Responsible for accounts receivables through membership billing processes
  • Responsible for payment processing.Accurate and timely invoice processing as per company procedures (processing 3 way match of bill payments). Ensure that calculations are correct and that payments are coded to the correct account
  • To maintain spreadsheets for monitoring and analyzing commission and medical payments
  • Perform journal entries as per accounting standards
  • Carry out reconciliations of account, general ledger and sub-ledger
  • Maintain general ledger at account level
  • Collaborate with accounting team to support various accounting activities on a daily basis
  • Assist preparing monthly financial statement in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and as specified in the AMA procedures Manual

Cash Management:

  • To allocate cash to different departments / divisions and ensure that the cash verification is done periodically
  • Weekly bank deposit and collection report
  • Handle cash and bank transaction and other correspondence with bank

General:

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree level qualification in Finance with at least 2 years of work experience in a relevant field
  • Highly Competent in Microsoft Office applications, and advanced excel skills
  • Knowledge and experience of accounting systems and preferably Tally 
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with the public
  • Fluency in written and vocal English language
