  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with tax preparation and filing.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial forecasting processes.

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant/Admin Officer to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for processing invoices, handling petty cash, maintaining accounting records, and supporting various administrative and financial functions. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of VAT, tax regulations, and billing procedures, along with proficiency in accounting software such as Tally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, expense forms, and payment requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Handle petty cash, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
  • Prepare bills and receipts for payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Maintain accounting records, update financial transactions, and ensure all documentation is organized and filed properly.
  • Have a basic understanding of VAT and tax regulations, assisting in the preparation and filing of taxes.
  • Use Tally or similar accounting software to manage financial data, including journal entries, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as making copies, filing documents, and maintaining physical and digital records.
  • Assist in maintaining and reconciling the general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure proper documentation and approval for company expenses.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documents and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, legal requirements, and tax regulations.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting and administrative activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
