Strong Object Oriented development skills and proficiency in WordPress, PHP, JS, CSS & JS
Solid understanding and working knowledge of WordPress architecture, vanilla WordPress configuration, theme template and plugin development based on WordPress best practices Strong working knowledge and use of Responsive Web Design and UX design principles and best practices
Extensive experience developing custom WordPress plugins
A strong understanding of, and practical experience with, custom WordPress development.
A sincere commitment to crafting readable and reliable code.
A solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design practices.
Strong understanding of database schema design, caching and scalability.
BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
Expertise in Git
Experience mentoring other engineers, and the desire to lead

Write server-side code, create robust high-volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly.
Design and build new plugins into the WordPress platform critical to the digital flow clients.
Collaborate with other engineers and designers to deliver strong customer-focused experiences.
Practice disciplined software engineering (e.g. clean code, code reviews, and writing beautiful, pragmatic code).
Actively contribute to team and company standards.
Maintain current site, fix issues that arise.
Mentor junior team members.
