We are seeking a person who understand marketing and promotion techniques; can oversee & organize events that will make an impact to the target audience. 

Responsibilities

• Coordinate details of events such as conferences, trade shows, sales meetings, business meetings (and virtual events if necessary)
• Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
• Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers and sponsers; prepare budgets and ensure adherence
• Own recruiting, objective setting, coaching and performance monitoring of team members
• Promote the event using flyers, cold calling and social media as examples of ways to spark attention.
• ensure that the events are successful and cost effective; paying attention to budget and time constraints.
• Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
• Analyze the event's success, prepare reports and discuss it with management team

Requirements

• Proven experience on managing events (having project management skill would be an added advantage)
• Knowledge of marketing techniques for event management
• Confident on meeting (or exceeding) target consistently
• Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibility effectively at all levels of the organization
• Can demonstrate a good leadership ability
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
